Hunlock Creek Volunteer Fire Company

  • Now Accepting Applications!!!!!  
  • No Training Necessary!!!!!
  • Training in provided and paid for through the fire company!!!!

All types of members needed:

(social, business, firefighters, junior firefighters, wildland firefighters, firepolice, auxiliary) 

Social Member-----Anyone over the age of 14 may participate in fundraisers, events, attend meetings.

FireFighter----Anyone over the age of 18 may participate in Firefighting activities. (The amount of activities is up to YOU!)

Junior FireFighter---Anyone from 14years old to 17years old may be a member with proper working papers and parental consent. Junior's will be able to participate in most activities as long as it falls under the rules of the Child Labor Law.

WildLand FireFighter---Anyone over the age of 18 will be able to participate in Brush, Wildland fire's at the request of the PA Department of Forestry. (to become a Wildland Firefighter minimum training of 16hr. class in Basic wildland firefighting skills).

FirePolice---Anyone over the age of 18 can be involved with the firepolice duties are to control traffic, direct traffic, block traffic, crowd control.

Auxiliary---Duties are to help firefighters at Emergency scenes with beverages, food, help at fundraisers, attend meetings.

 

Hunlock Creek Vol. Fire Co. is a family/friendly type atmosphere where we can all have an equal opportunity whether male/female, race, etc.  We as a team can provide a strong safe fire department and keep our community safe.

HUNLOCK CREEK VOLUNTEER AMBULANCE ASSCOCIATION

 

THE HUNLOCK CREEK VOLUNTEER AMBULANCE ASSCOCIATION LOCATED ON MAIN ROAD HUNLOCK CREEK, PA OPERATES ONE AMBULANCE AND PROVIDES SERVICES TO HUNLOCK CREEK AND SURROUNDING COMMUNITES 24 HOURS A DAY, 7 DAYS A WEEK. BEING VOLUNTEER MEANS THERE IS NO ONE SITTING AT THE STATION ALL THE TIME. THE MEMBERS OF THE ASSCOCIATION ARE JUST LIKE YOU AND ME WITH FAMILIES, MULTIPLE JOBS, ACTIVITES, BUT WHEN THERE IS AN EMERGENCY WE WILL RESPONDE. UNFORTANLY WE CAN NOT ALWAYS RESPONDE DO TO WORK, AND OTHER OBLIGATIONS. THIS IS WERE WE NEED THE COMMUNITY SUPPORT TO COME OUT AND HELP OUR NEIGHBORS. THIS IS A NEW YEAR NEW BEGINNING WITH SEVERAL CHANGES TAKING PLACE IN THE ASSCOCIATION. WE ARE CURRENTLY LOOKING FOR ALL TYPES OF MEMBERS. IF YOU ARE INVOLVED IN THE MEDICAL FIELD THAT WOULD BE GREAT, THE ASSCOCATION REALIZES THAT EVERY ONE IS VERY BUSY, BUT IF WE CAN GET JUST A FEW HOURS A WEEK, MONTH, YEAR EVERY LITTLE BIT HELPS.

 

REMEMBER: TRAINING IS ON THE AMBULANCE ASSC. FREE OF CHARGE.

EMERGENCY MEDICAL TECHNICIANS (EMT’S),

DRIVERS,

ATTENDANTS,

JUNIOR ATTENDANTS (16-17YRS/OLD)
